A great seasoning blend for chicken!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons chicken stock powder
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon ground star anise
1/4 teaspoon ground marjoram
Method:
- Measure ingredients into a bowl (or jar).
- Mix well.
- Store in a labelled, airtight container.
TIPS:
- Adjust spices to taste.
SERVING IDEAS:
- Add to rice, pasta, stir-fries, jerky, stuffing and marinades;
- Pan-fry, grill, roast or barbecue seasoned chicken and fish;
- Chicken – sprinkle onto chicken before cooking;
- Fish – mix with lemon juice and drizzle onto fish before baking;
- Sprinkle onto chips before baking;
- Season flour before crumbing chicken, beef or pork.
