RYE BREAD - BAVARIAN

Rye and wheat flour make a dark crumbed, light coloured, crunchy crusted European-style loaf of bread, with a pleasant flavour and soft volume. This is my youngest daughter’s favourite bread for sandwiches.
    
Panasonic/Sunbeam Breadmakers
240g water       
350g Bavarian Rye Breadmix
3/4 teaspoon natural bread improver (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast     
    
Other Breadmakers
230g water
350g Bavarian Rye Breadmix
3/4 teaspoon natural bread improver (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
   
Method:
1. French/Wholemeal Setting (3-4 hours).
2. Add ingredients in order (water first, yeast last).
3. Sprinkle dough with sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, linseed, pumpkin seeds and poppy seeds for topping at the prompt (optional).
