VACUUM SEALING JERKY

Made lots of jerky? Or want to keep it even longer? Vacuum sealing is the best option!  A vacuum sealer is handy to store portions of jerky (and other types of food) without needing numerous containers. You can also add dried fruits and nuts with the jerky into the vacuum sealer bag for packing for camping trips or snacks (if eaten within a few days to a few weeks). Simply separate the jerky into portions, insert each portion into a vacuum sealer bag, vacuum and seal, label and store in the pantry (around 1 month), refrigerator (up to 3 months) or freezer (around 6 months).

Shop around to see which vacuum sealer suits your needs or consider sharing (or borrowing one) from a friend.
