HOT CHOCOLATE MIX

Homemade hot chocolate mix is something simple you can make at home and makes extra special gifts for all occasions.

Hot Chocolate Mix & Dehydrated Mini Marshmallows  
 

Ingredients for  HOT CHOCOLATE MIX

YIELD: 5-6 CUPS
Skim Milk Powder
2 1/2 cups
Icing Sugar (Powdered Sugar), Sifted
2 cups
Cocoa Powder, Sifted
1 cup
Salt, Finely Ground
1 teaspoon
 
METHOD:
1. Sift ingredients into a bowl. Mix well.
2. Pack into clean, dry, airtight jars.
3. Seal, label and store in your pantry for up to 3 months.
   
How to Make a Hot Chocolate:
Stir 3 heaped tablespoons of hot chocolate mix into 1 cup of boiling water (or hot milk). Serve.
       
FLAVOUR IDEAS:
o    Choc mint mix: add ground candy canes or powdered mint flavouring;
o    Try other flavours (powdered only, no liquids).
