A great seasoning blend for chicken!
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons chicken stock powder
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon chilli powder 
1/2 teaspoon ground star anise
1/4 teaspoon ground marjoram
  1. Measure ingredients into a bowl (or jar).
  2. Mix well.
  3. Store in a labelled, airtight container.
  • Adjust spices to taste.
  • Add to rice, pasta, stir-fries, jerky, stuffing and marinades;
  • Pan-fry, grill, roast or barbecue seasoned chicken and fish;
  • Chicken – sprinkle onto chicken before cooking;
  • Fish – mix with lemon juice and drizzle onto fish before baking;
  • Sprinkle onto chips before baking;
  • Season flour before crumbing chicken, beef or pork.
