Baked Brie

Cook: Oven 15-20 minutes
Storage: Refrigerator 2 days
Yield: 1 x cheese wheel
Rushed for time when entertaining? Smother brie (or other cheese of your choice) with a rich berry jam, cover in pastry, bake and serve!
1 wheel of brie
1 sheet of puff pastry
2 tablespoons berry jam
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Pinch of brown sugar 
  1. Place brie in the middle of the pastry sheet.
  2. Spread brie with jam.
  3. Wrap pastry around brie to make a parcel. Drizzle with the maple syrup and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  4. Bake until golden (around 15-20 minutes).
  5. Serve warm with apple slices or crackers.
  • See brie on sale? Pop into the freezer until ready to use - no need to thaw (in fact, it is better to use frozen cheese). 

  • Brie with Mulberry Jam, Blackberry Jam or Boysenberry Jam;
  • Gouda with Apricot Jam.
  • Crusty bread, crackers or apple slices.
Smother brie with berry jam
wrap with pastry, drizzle with maple syrup and brown sugar
bake until golden then serve
serve while warm :)
